The Rockin' Rock Band Contest
Come out andc play Rock Band inside the UC by the Multi-Cultural Center on April 28 between 12 noon and 2:00 to win some cool prizes!
First Place: 820 the Edge Prize Pack (Incluses Free dinner at El Charro's, Free 20 oz. Coke at G.D. Ritzeys. Buy One Get One Free pass to Diamond Lanes, 820 the Edge hoodies/zoodies, and a CD from our vault for each member)
2nd Place: Free small Spaghetti meal from Fazoli's, and a CD from our vault for each member.
3rd Place: Free small spaghetti meal from Fazoli's
RULES
- Play times for bands are on a first come first serve basis! Entry into the contest will be closed when these times are full!
- 12 time slots between noon and 2 will beavailable
- Teams (bands) will consist of four (4) people
- All bands must have a name, any vulgar names or those with vulgar acronyms/meanings will be changed by WSWI-820 the Edge
- Each band will play a predetermined song
- Bands must sign up for the cotest and their time in the radio station
- Each band must provide names of the members at sign-up and at least one contact's phone number
- Bands will draw the song they will play at random. The band that accumulates the most points after playing their song wins.
- In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the highest percentage of the individual players
